Short Bio

Linda Emmy Al-Ghussein is half-Palestinian who grew up in the west (Stockholm). Took BA in textile at Konstfack in Stockholm. Sculpture and installation attracted her to continue her education in Helsinki - Finnish Academy in Fine Art. Where she took her MA in sculpture. Has been awarded several prizes and scholarships, including the 2017 Merita promising young artist grant and 2020 work scholarship from the Swedish Cultural Foundation. She Work alone and in the art duo Restlessminds @restlessminds.sweden. Restlessminds works uncompromisingly with public intervention, where the audience's integration with the art is the focus.

Works digitally (collage, GIFs) and with sculpture where she works freely between materials, to illuminate and enhance the tactile.
